Weaving flower fairy crowns

It's school holidays at the moment and I am trying to make the most of having all three kids at home, I have been trying to keep them entertained with special activities. Making flower crowns was definitely up there as one of their favourites.

So easy, beautiful and good for the soul creating outside.

We foraged all the flowers and vines from our own garden in a beautiful basket, we then wove the vines in to a circle and added the flowers, weaving stems in to place.

They only last one day but what a magical day that is!

A list of emotions and feelings I wrote for myself to inspire the self portraits in this photography portfolio.

I found multiple exposures in camera and in photoshop helped me allow these images to come together exactly as I imagined them to be.

This was a journey for me difficult at times but completely liberating.

The biggest reason I enjoy study is that it pushes me outside of my comfort zone and forces me to attempt projects I might never have tried.

Express, embrace, accept, admire, love your true self.

Working through my Auteur study portfolio assignment at the moment, I am doing a series of self portraits exploring emotions and experimenting with multiple exposures in camera.
It is difficult to truly open up about my own emotions but very liberating at the same time

Baby Kilt lifestyle photo shoot

I am still discovering the different aspects of photography that I most enjoy, and lifestyle photo shoots is definitely one of them.

I love how relaxed children are in their own environment, I find at home shoots far easier than studio shoots.

I also love toddlers they are a joy to photograph :)

I absolutely adored this session with the gorgeous Kahu in his Baby Kilt outfit, so gorgeous!
